Welcome to Retirement!

The retirement banquet is over, you’ve cleared out your desk. At the office you celebrated with your workmates and at home you have celebrated with your family and friends and NOW you can start living that dream you have had for a long, long time - to travel and to retire to Florida.  For most retirees Florida is at the top of their list for their retirement with plenty of sunshine and warm weather, a gentle semi-tropical climate and an easy lifestyle. You have successfully accomplished one stage of your life and now it’s time to move on to the next.  Florida the “Sunshine State”, sunny days, breathtaking sunrises and awesome sunsets.  Florida boasts some of the best white sand beaches and is known for its many golf courses where you can test your mettle on the green and is known world wide for some of the best fishing for the backcountry, flats or offshore angler. Boating is one sport that everyone enjoys from canoeing, kayaking, fishing boats, cruisers and sailboats.  Diving and snorkeling are popular among the things to do in Florida, especially in the Florida Keys where one can see many different species of colorful tropical fish and beautiful coral and view one of the many shipwrecks lying on the ocean floor.

Every kind of housing is available in Florida from the seaside beachy life,  a small town, or a more vibrant lifestyle in the college towns or cities, even an easy lifestyle in “horse country” in the Ocala area
A great benefit is the absence of a State Income Tax and a very generous tax exemption on assessed value of owner or dependent occupied homesteads.
Don’t wait any longer. There is so much to do in Florida. Come see for yourself.  You will love it here.
