Fishing
Fishing is spectacular whether on a stream, lake, river, fishing from a bridge or dock, on a boat or fishing in the backcountry or deep sea fishing. In the Florida Keys one can fish on the flats for the elusive bone fish , or on the only living reef in North America and offshore. Charter boat captains are available to take you fishing.  If you go on a charter boat you will not need a license as they generally have their passengers covered.  Otherwise you will need a fishing license.  These you can purchase online or at most tackle shops and marinas.  Information for regulations and rates can be found on the website for Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Snorkeling & Diving
If you have never snorkeled or dived before then these are an experience you don’t want to miss.  Especially in the Florida Keys where you can float over and view schools of colorful tropical fish and many different kinds of beautiful coral.  You can even view shipwrecks of long ago.

Boating
What fun to go fishing in a boat on a lake, backwaters, or deep sea.  Sailing is so relaxing slicing through the water so silently.  Kayaking and canoeing are a lot of fun too.
